How the Time To Give Network works –  5 steps

In our fast-paced world, time is one of our most valuable resources. Imagine if you could transform your precious time into meaningful contributions for charities and causes you care about. The Time to Give Network makes this possible, creating a unique platform where TimeGivers and TimeBidders can connect and collaborate for a greater good. Here’s a detailed guide on how the Time to Give Network works and how you can get involved.

Step 1

REGISTER

The first step to becoming part of the Time to Give Network is registration. There are two types of members: TimeBidders and TimeGivers.

  • TimeBidders are individuals or organisations looking to make a charitable donation in return for time with a professionals that they wish to meet.

  • TimeGivers are professionals or experts willing to offer their time for meetings.

Step 2

TIMEGIVERS POST MEETING OPPORTUNITIES

Once registered, TimeGivers can start posting meeting opportunities. Here’s how it works:

  • Choose type: First off, TimeGivers choose their type of meeting offer, Buy-it-now where they set their amount or Auction where TimeBidders bid to drive the amount.

  • Specify details: TimeGivers can choose to specify the date, time, and location for the meeting, or leave it to be scheduled with the TimeBidder.

  • Select a charity and a donation amount: They choose their preferred charity to benefit from the engagement and the minimum amount that the charity is to receive.

  • Post the opportunity: The meeting opportunity is posted on the Time to Give Network as either a Buy-it-now or Auction opportunity.

Step 3

TIMEBIDDERS SUBMIT INDICATIONS OF INTERST (IOI)

TimeBidders who are interested in the posted meeting opportunities can submit an Indication of Interest and if they wish, add a personalised message to the TimeGiver pertaining to the meeting.

Step 4

IT’S TIME TO BUY

Once Indications of Interest are submitted, TimeGivers review them to approve suitable TimeBidders. Once approved, TimeBidders can submit their Buy-it-now to secure the meeting or if it’s an Auction submit their bid to participate in the Auction.

Step 5

A CONNECTION IS MADE

When a Buy-it-now price is met, the TimeBidder immediately closes the opportunity. For Auctions, when the Auction end date is reached, the highest bidding TimeBidder wins the opportunity. The next steps are straightforward:

  • Donation: The winning TimeBidder donates the agreed amount to the TimeGiver’s chosen charity.

  • Connection: The TimeGiver and TimeBidder are introduced and provided with contact details

  • Meeting: The TimeGiver and TimeBidder connect for the scheduled meeting, creating a valuable exchange of time and expertise. Face-to-face meetings are strongly encouraged in order to ensure a meaningful connection.

The Time to Give Network is a powerful platform that leverages the value of professional time for charitable causes. By transforming meetings into donations, it creates a win-win situation for both TimeGivers and TimeBidders, fostering a community of giving and support. Whether you’re looking to share your expertise or seeking valuable insights from professionals, the Time to Give Network makes every minute count towards making a difference.
