What's in it for me? Answering your questions on the Time To Give Network
What is the Time to Give Network?
The Time to Give Network is a not-for-profit platform that connects the financial services community to drive charitable donations through professional engagements.
What is the primary goal of the Time to Give Network?
The primary goal is to facilitate new connections within the UK financial services community while generating charitable donations.
What is the difference between TimeBidders and TimeGivers?
TimeBidders are vendors, service providers, or professionals seeking insights or connections. They bid for meetings with TimeGivers who are subject matter experts, C-level executives, and professionals who offer their expertise.
What are the benefits of being a TimeGiver?
By participating, you will enjoy autonomy over your meetings by leveraging our platform and member network, allowing you to maximise the value of your time. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support charitable causes and accelerate both individual and corporate philanthropic aspirations.
How much time do I need to commit?
An hour of your time! This is sufficient for a qualified business meeting in return for a pre-agreed donation to your charity of choice. Get fast track access to new technology and service providers whilst retaining full control over who you meet.
How do I offer my time?
There are two ways to do so, both of which are offered by the Time to Give Network platform
Traditional Auction – The highest bidder gets the opportunity to meet with you.
Buy-it-now – An offer to meet in return for your specified donation amount.
What are the benefits of being a TimeBidder?
By participating, you will benefit from faster, more cost-effective access to decision makers and influencers, enabling you to accelerate your business and personal development goals. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support charitable causes while securing meetings with key hard to reach individuals. In order to ensure that it’s a target-rich environment, you are also encouraged to provide a list of potential TimeGivers that you want to see on the platform and the Time to Give Network team will go get them!
How does the bidding process work?
TimeGivers post opportunities for meetings, which TimeBidders can bid on or secure immediately as a Buy it Now. Winning bidders make donations to the chosen charity of the TimeGiver.
Is there a fee to join the network?
TimeBidders pay a low annual subscription fee, while TimeGivers join for free.
What types of charities benefit from this network?
Any UK registered charities on the JustGiving network selected by TimeGivers can receive donations from the TimeBidders.
How can sponsors participate?
Sponsors can support the network and its initiative; further details can be found on the Time to Give Network website.
How can I get involved?
You can get involved by registering on the Time to Give Network website as either a TimeGiver or a TimeBidder.
